Black blazer four ways

Maggie Morgan

This week we have the classic black blazer in four looks. The jacket I happened to pick is a little on the pricey side, but you probably already have one, or if not, they are everywhere. Especially discount stores like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc will have an assortment for just a fraction of department store prices. Maybe even this exact jacket! Make sure that, for these outfits, the cut of the jacket is feminine - it should nip in at the waist, the bottom should end at your hips, and (especially if you're short or large-busted) should only have one or two buttons (if any). Just say no to shoulder pads. The arms should be fitted but comfortable (can you cross your arms in front of you without the whole jacket moving?). If you find the perfect one but the sleeves are just a tad too long, get them hemmed! With the following ensembles, the jacket is worn open.

Hope you enjoy!
