Hello there fellow magchunkians! (I totally just made that word up) I'm Jackie from the blog Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle. You may be wondering at this point "What have you done with my precious Maggie?". Well, I've kidnapped her and she is over posting at my blog today. Mwahahahahahahahaha! Don't worry, I will give her back; but not until you indulge me by listening to my latest obsession in interiors: navy paired with brights. I find it very fun, modern and crisp, how about you?
This navy and orange duo is a shot from a little corner of a nursery. What a unique color combo for a baby's room. I think it would work nicely for either a girl or a boy.
Here we have a fun colorful art piece offest by navy walls. I love how it really makes the artwork pop!

Check out that hot pink dyed cowhide rug! Wowza. Don't think that would ever show up in a house of mine, but it looks cool in this photo. I looove that big swooping orange lamp. Just watch your head please.
Navy and red: a classic right? They've kept it modern and fun here with graphic pillows and the ubiquitous Jonathan Adler bench. Normally I'm not a big fan of the whole patriotic red white and blue pairing, but I actually really like this room.

If the fireplace were painted white I would be really smitten with this little fireplace vignette. Whoever said there is no such thing as hot pink firewood was wrong-dead wrong. The yellow vase up top looks super chic too.
Well folks, that is all I have for you today. If you like this "Obsessing Over" post, you would probably get a kick out of all these too:
I'm off to go untie Maggie now.
