So regular readers might remember that we don't have cable - we use an antenna and get maybe 15 channels tops. For the majority of our tv viewing we stream old seasons of shows on Netflix, so it's not really an issue. Except that I do miss HGTV and all of the (some cheesy, some addictive) design shows. I've never seen Design Star, but I do adore last season's winner, Emily Henderson. Sad that I probably won't see her show, Secrets of a Stylist, unless it steams online (whadda say, HGTV?)
I love the quirky accessories she finds (girl has an eye for kick-ass furniture too, that you would never look twice at until she showed you how awesome it was going to be). I feel like she's a new, unique voice in design this year and I can't wait to see what she produces!
