It's hard for me to believe that I've kept this little blog running for three years. I still feel like I'm figuring out what I'm doing week to week. And yet, it's hard to remember a time when I wasn't sourcing or snapping photos for a post, talking about my online friends to Ryan as if I knew them in person, and connecting with amazing and inspiring people each day.
Last year I jokingly worried about my blog's "terrible twos" - and in a way, it's been true! None of the struggles this year have been without amazing pay-off, though. It's truly been a year of growth spurts - from redesigning my entire website, quitting my job and launching my business, being featured on Apartment Therapy and other blogs, writing for Makeunder My Life, tackling new design projects, and figuring out the whole self-employment thing.
I would not be the same person I am now if I hadn't started this blog three years ago, but I never could have predicted what it would bring. I'm so grateful for the opportunities that blogging has brought into my life and for the close, real friends I've made on the internet. Between them and my wonderful, thoughtful and creative readers, this is such a special place for me to come everyday as I grow my business.
P.S. If you haven't taken my annual reader survey yet, please spare me two minutes to do so. I'd so appreciate it!
