Client project: Traditional glam

Gotta love when an e-design client sends me a pinterest board full of glamorous but fun and colorful interiors as a jumping-off point. Page and her hubby have a second home that needed some updates and almost all new furnishings - and I was able to help from over 1,000 miles away. In the downstairs living room we went for a slightly more formal arrangement, with a mirror placed to reflect light from outside. This is a space that will be used more for entertaining guests.

The kitchen and dining nook will get cosmetic changes - the kitchen will be painted with light gray cabinets and a darker gray/blue island. The adjoining dining nook will have a round/oval table with existing leather chairs and gingham curtains in a bay window. A desk for paying bills and stashing paperwork when they have company will also be tucked in front of a window.

Upstairs is a second living area, used for watching TV and spending time together. We went with a cozier, more relaxed feel, adding storage, and working in an existing leather sofa, similar to the one shown..

I loved working on this project - we're doing some quick revisions but I know Page is already ordering some of the pieces and I hope she'll share photos with us when she's finished!

If you live outside my (Seattle) service area, e-decorating packages start at $350 per room. I'm currently taking new clients! Contact me now to get started.
