My Living Room

We've made so much progress since I last shared photos of our living room (in which I believe there was still a Christmas Tree!). Since we got the new sofa in December, we gave away our old sofa, scored new brass chairs at the flea market, bought an armchair at HomeGoods, and made lots of little changes to the accessories. We still have more to do, but it's at a point now where it isn't driving me crazy everyday, so it seemed like a good point to share while we save up for a few more purchases. And since my mom commented that the room feels very different in person than from my blog pictures, I tried to share a few more angles so you can get a better feel for it!

My darling (and patient) husband has requested an ottoman to put his feet on while we're hanging out on the couch. Since the glass coffee table we've had is a little too short for the new seating, I'm planning to swap it out with a large ottoman coffee table.

There is a lot of space where the new armchair is. The side table is not really working for me, but I plan to either replace it with a console in the window (to hold the lamp) along with a small drinks table next to the chair, or maybe do one big round skirted side table instead. I keep changing my mind, so I'm going to let that stew for a while. What would you do?

I'm wrapping up our newly repainted and recovered dining chairs and will get posts of the dining area too, which you can kind of see peeking out from behind the plant. Really enjoying that this space is feeling more and more finished.

What do you think?
